Dr. Jingyi CaoDr Jingyi Cao is an Endocrine Surgeon and Head and Neck Surgeon specialised in the treatment of patients with thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland diseases.
She graduated from the University of Melbourne School of Medicine in 2010 and obtained her Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons after completing her surgical training through the Western Sydney training network. She underwent further subspecialty training in Endocrine Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery with the Department of Head and Neck Surgery/Surgical Oncology at Westmead Hospital and the Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre Westmead.
She has a special interest in the management of metastatic thyroid cancer requiring central and lateral neck dissections, minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, and the surgical management of parotid gland and submandibular gland tumours and ductal stones.
She is a qualified RACS CCrISP course instructor and is actively involved in the supervision and training of surgical trainees, junior medical officers and medical students.
She is fluent in Mandarin. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her young family and traveling.Qualifications
