Dr. Dean LisewskiDean Lisewski is a Specialist Surgeon with advanced training in Endocrine Surgery. He has been at the forefront of delivering high quality Endocrine Surgery in Western Australia for over 14 years and he currently performs more such operations than any other surgeon in this state.
Mr Lisewski's clinical workload is comprehensively audited and in all clinical performance indicators of relavance to endocrine surgery (nerve injury rates, hypoparathyroid rates, haematoma rates, infection rates and remnant uptake rates) he performs well within best practice standards. The auditing tools that he himself developed to ensure he delivers the best quality of care possible, have now been adopted by all members of WAES, the chief Endocrine Surgery organisation in WA.
Mr Lisewski is the Director of the Perth Thyroid Cancer Clinic which is the first and currently the only private Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Team in WA. Our Group of experts include Endocrine Surgeons, Endocrinologists, Nuclear Physicians, Thyroid Pathologist and Medical Oncologists. Every Thyroid cancer patient who visits this clinic will recieve Risk Stratification, Comprehensive Management and Surveillance.
Although Mr Lisewski has expertise in all areas of Endocrine Surgery (Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal, Neuroendocrine tumours of the GIT and Pancreas) he also maintains a keen interest in Salivary gland Surgery, Haemo-oncologic Surgery, Hernia Surgery and Gall Bladder Surgery.
